Le Picasso is a beautiful apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen. Its two bedrooms each have a modern bathroom with walk-in shower.

 

To stay at Château La Tour Apollinaire is to enjoy a unique setting, a half-hectare garden with many exotic plants, a beautiful swimming pool (available June - October, unheated) and modern apartments, all in a Belle Époque château. The secret château is tucked away behind a Perpignan city street. Walk over the bridge on the Têt River and find yourself in historic downtown Perpignan, with many excellent restaurants, museums, and historic attractions like the Castillet and the Palace of the Kings of Majorca. The beautiful La Bassa River and its gardens run through the charming city center.

 

Free guest parking on the premises behind a private gate with your own automated entry key. Walking distance to the city center and restaurants, or drive and park at the Place Arago parking garage. Many beautiful historic towns and wineries are a short drive away. Walking distance to two supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a good bakery. Ten minute drive to the Perpignan airport. The beautiful white sand beach at Canet-en-Roussillon Is a twelve minute drive from the château.

 

The Pablo Picasso Suite is fully air conditioned. It is on the third floor (deuxieme étage) of the château, up the grand staircase and a second smaller staircase. Please ask Thierry for assistance with your luggage if needed. For heavy luggage we can provide valet service, unpacking and hanging clothes for you.

The appartment is very spacious and just as illustrated in the photos. Thierry's welcome was warm and he gave clear instructions and local recommendations. It was great to be able to have a swim in the late afternoon after a hot day of site seeing. The appartment is 2mins from a bus stop that has two services running straight into the old town. Which don't follow the published timetable but are nevertheless very handy. Thank you.

Really beautiful place to stay, just like the photos, lovely grounds and the pool is great. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Thierry welcomed us with a aperitif and showed us round the apartment. He was very happy to help with any request. It is in a great location and easy to walk into Perpignon. Piscine très appréciée avec les enfants 🙂 La situation permet de rayonner facilement autour de Perpignan, des Corbières à l'Espagne. Petite précision par rapport à l'annonce : il n'y a pas de lave-linge dans l'appartement mais il y en a un à disposition dans une buanderie commune.

Victoria's apartment was absolutely spectacular! The photos don't fully capture the size and space of the apartment which was an amazing surprise. Thierry met us with an aperitif and was really attentive, even sourcing more inflatables for the pool to ensure there were enough for all of the children. The grounds of the chateux and the pool area are impeccable. It's a great location, although it's a slightly rundown area, it's easily walkable to the centre of Perpignan with many excellent restaurants and well connected by bus and train to explore the area further. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would love to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Château La Tour Appollinaire for six nights. The property is stunning, and from the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The host/co-host was always easy to reach and extremely helpful, which made everything smooth. We stayed in an apartment for four people, and it was very spacious – more than enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. The place was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed. After our daily activities, relaxing by the pool in the afternoons was a really nice. The setting was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Château La Tour Appollinaire to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and relaxing stay!

We have had the best week. The historic chateaux is beautiful and unique. The apartment has everything you could need for cooking and lots of small touches like body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. Short walk to the centre of Perpignan where there are fabulous restaurants and bars and so many beautiful galleries and historic places of interest. Public transport super easy - regularly jumping on buses to the coast for just over 1€ or really affordable trains out to beautiful coastal villages such as Collioure. Thierry welcomed us with cocktails and snacks and pointed us in the direction of everything we needed. Carrefour City two mins walk - has everything you might need. The pool area and gardens are stunning with so many beautiful plants and trees with a huge variety of birds visiting. We loved watching the fish and frogs in the pond and the bats flying around the garden in the evening. Just perfect and so easy ❤️

An absolute privilege to be able to stay in such a wonderful apartment in the chateaux. Its history is fascinating and the building just oozes charm. Great spaces for our use- the pool was particularly lovely. Best of all though was Thierry, who was there to welcome us and to say goodbye. He was attentive, responsive and friendly throughout and really made our stay special. We visited Collioure, Maury, Ceret and Carcasson during our visit and loved them all. While what we saw of Perpignan was not as beautiful it is a great place to base yourself, and you will do no better than Victoria’s place.

Det är nära till stan, alldeles i närheten finns flera mataffärer, bagerier och butiker. vill man löpträna så kan man springa längs med floden. slottet har en underbar trädgård med fräsch och ren pool som sköts om dagligen. Trots att det ligger i stadsmiljö är det förvånansvärt lugnt och stilla i trädgården, mycket avkopplande och privat. i lägenheten finns allt man behöver. Jag rekommenderar derar detta boendet och skulle gärna återkomma.

We loved our stay! The chateau was a beautiful oasis in Perpignan, and the apartment was even better than shown in the listing. It was very spacious for our family of four, had beautiful large bathrooms, and a functional new kitchen with everything you’d need to prepare a meal. Laundry facilities were an added bonus. We had a great stay at the Château - the Picasso Apartment was beautiful. We had a couple of cold days, so needed the heaters, but I'm sure that in the height of summer the apartment would be a cool haven away from the heat. The bed was super comfy and the linen excellent. Thierry was extremely helpful and communicated with us throughout the stay. There's not a lot to do close to the apartment, but the two supermarkets and the Ange bakery were handy enough and within walking distance! Otherwise it was a good 15 - 20 minute walk to the centre of Perpignan with its shops, café's and restaurants. We visited Ceret, Canet-sur-Mare, St Cypienne and Collioure - Ceret and Collioure (especially the latter) were well worth the visit. Overall a great spring break.

We are married couple from the US and spent 10 days touring France, Spain and the Pyrenees. Almost by accident, we ended up at Victoria's place for what was to be our last two nights before heading to Barcelona. Instead, we stayed an extra night at Victoria's and we would have gladly stayed 10 more! I've had the pleasure of traveling quite a bit in Europe and the US and we have had many excellent AirBnB experiences. But, honestly, nothing compares to Victoria's. It is the most magnificent physical structure we've ever stayed in AND the fit and finish are first rate. Plus, the tour we received was illuminating and had my wife and I wanting to dig deeper into the home's history. We love to explore wherever we go and Thierry - an awesome concierge and much more - had great recommendations and took care of scheduling rides and even did me a huge favor during our stay. We walked around Perpignan - lovely town. We'll be talking about our stay incessantly to our friends and family!

The Chateau is beatiful and Thierry, the administrator, is a great host. We would definitively stay there again. I gave it 5 stars because that's AirBnb's limit, but it deserves a few more.

Lovely stay in this amazing apartment. Pool was magnificent- but a bit chilly for October but I was well warned. Thankfully we are from the west of Ireland so it didn’t impact our daily swims. Short walk to town 10/15mins. Amazing apartment, great host. Thierry was on site most days cleaning the pool and offering to help as I was travelling with my wife and 4 month old baby. All was better than expected. Ps: nice touch with coffee and welcome drinks - Much appreciated Top tip for south of France in October bring bug spray.

Victoria und ihr Verwalter Thierry sind sehr warmherzige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das idyllische Schloss befindet sich im Quartier Bas Vernet inmitten eines kleinen, geschützten privaten Parks, wo man wirklich seine Ruhe hat. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die verschiedenen Apartments haben ihren je unverwechselbaren Stil und Charme. Sie sind grossräumig und laden zum Verweilen ein. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fürs Kochen gibts im Quartier oder im nahen Zentrums. Ich habe mich in dieser Unterkunft stets überaus wohl und mehr als wie nur zuhause gefühlt. Ich kehre immer gerne wieder zurück. Ich kann Victoria, Thierry und diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Unser Aufenthalt war großartig! Die Suite ist riesengroß und wirklich sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Man hat hier wirklich alles was man braucht und es ist sehr sehr sauber. Obwohl das Schloß inmitten der Stadt liegt, hatten wir durch die Abtrennung mit den Mauern und Toren und einem kleinen Park eine kleine Wohlfühloase. Victoria und Thierry sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man kann auch wirklich viel unternehmen und der Pool ist immer für eine kleine Abkühlung gut. Wir können das Schloß allen nur wärmstens empfehlen, hier kann man nichts falsch machen, wir haben uns gut erholt, was will man mehr :) Vielen Dank für alles!

The apartment was quite big and very nice, if sparsely decorated. The theme is Picasso, which was a nice touch. Victoria and Thierry were very friendly and quickly got to the apartment to clean the shower and take care of a small maintenance issue. The wifi worked well all week so we could work and close enough to the city to walk to dinner each night. Or a quick 20 minute drive to the beach. My only complaint would be the one aircon unit in the living room, which didn't cool either of the bedrooms very well. But the owners are working to improve the building and welcomed our feedback. They also brought in some goats to reclaim some of their property for improvements outside. A very nice experience and I can't wait to see the improvements when we go back!

Empfang und Service durch Thierry waren hervorragend und von Victoria gab es spannende Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Region. The “urban” chateau is an oasis of calm and tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Perpignan. Only 15 minutes walk to the old quarter, the chateau is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Our host, Victoria was very proactive with both communications and recommendations. Thierry met us with a delicious and extremely generous aperitif, dips and bread sticks. The ac was effective although in the Picasso suite the bedroom nearest the front door was initially a little warm, but a mobile local ac unit solved that issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Perpignan and would highly recommend the chateau to any visitor looking to stay in chic, comfortable and spacious accommodation.

Wir fanden die Unterkunft sehr schön und waren sehr von der Größe überrascht. Es gab alles, was man brauchte und dabei schien alles sogar wie neu. Es war sehr sauber und durch die Klimaanlage auch bei 35 Grad nicht zu heiß in dem Appartment. Der Checkin und Checkout waren sehr einfach und wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Generell war die Kommunikation mit Thierry sehr einfach und er war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, wodurch wir uns direkt wohlgefühlthaben in dem Appartement. Außerdem wird der Pool jeden Tag sauber gemacht, was wir sehr gut fanden. Zusammengefasst haben wir uns in dem Appartement und der Anlage sehr wohlgefühlt und waren positiv von der Gastfreundschaft überrascht.

We loved Victoria’s place. It was absolutely beautiful. Everything was as described and it was the perfect get away for a stress free weekend. Thierry, their right hand man, was helpful, kind, and quickly answered any questions we had. And finally, Victoria-she’s lovely. We enjoyed talking with her as she explained her vision for her home. We had a wonderful time. Our only regret was we had to go home.
